Hosted within the flagship of luxury fashion house LIE SANGBONG, the exhibition fosters a thoughtful dialogue between contemporary art and fashion—two disciplines bound by a shared dedication to craftsmanship, structural innovation, and material expression.

KYUHAK LEE

Kyuhak Lee constructs his assemblages from polystyrene or Styrofoam strips, meticulously wrapped in magazine pages and newspapers, then layered with hanji—traditional handmade Korean paper. This distinctive process not only transforms everyday materials into textured, dimensional surfaces but also serves as a powerful social commentary on consumer culture and the shifting values of the millennial era.

HONG SUNGCHUL

Hong Sungchul is a contemporary Korean artist known for creating immersive installations that challenge perception through the use of thread, acrylic, and optical illusion. His works shift with the viewer’s movement, blurring the boundaries between material, space, and visual experience.

BYUNGJIN KIM

A renowned steel sculptor, Byungjin Kim is celebrated for creating intricate figures and forms by meticulously welding together countless letters, logos, and symbols. His signature technique transforms industrial materials into expressive, layered narratives. Expanding his practice, he now introduces a brand-new series of original paintings on French etching paper, merging his sculptural sensibility with a refined, two-dimensional approach.

JOSE MARGULIS

Jose Margulis is a contemporary artist from Venezuela who delves into the manipulation between two-dimensional and three-dimensional spaces.
