To complement the collection, LIE SANGBONG has collaborated with Sun K. Kwak, a Korean-born, New York City-based artist. Kwak is well known for her signature three-dimensional “space drawings” constructed entirely of making tape. For the Fall/Winter 2015 runway show, Kwak is creating a site-specific drawing installation which will run across the venue walls and down the entire 86 ft. long runway. The work aims to rhythmically transform the space and challenge the viewers’’ sense of perception.
The LIE SANGBONG Fall-Winter 2015 collection will be available in August 2015 at retailers across the globe, including the brand’s recently opened US boutique located at 30 Gansevoort St in New York City.
